Installing Weather Watcher Live

Minimum Requirements:

·     IBM compatible PC

·     Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7

·     12 MB free disk space

Installation:

Weather Watcher Live should be installed using the Weather Watcher Live setup. The current Weather Watcher Live setup can be downloaded from www.WeatherWatcherLive.com. 

The Weather Watcher Live setup was created using Inno Setup. The setup process can customized using the available setup command line parameters.

Settings Locations:

Weather Watcher Live stores your personal settings in your Windows profile and the following Windows registry key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VB and VBA Program Settings\Weather Watcher Live

If you'd rather save your personal settings in the Weather Watcher Live program folder, then check the "Store user files in the Weather Watcher Live program folder" checkbox in the General tab of the Weather Watcher Live Options window.

Upgrading:

Newer versions of Weather Watcher Live can be installed over an older version. Ensure Weather Watcher Live is closed before attempting to run the new setup. Weather Watcher Live can be closed by choosing Exit from the Weather Watcher Live system tray menu.

Note: If you have any trouble exiting Weather Watcher Live, then press ALT+CTRL+DEL to open the Windows Task Manager, and end all ww.exe, dl.exe and getfile.exe processes from the Processes tab of the Windows Task Manager window.
